Have you heard of Korat Nakhon Ratchasima (นครราชสีมา)? It is a city located at the North East of Thailand and the gateway to Isan. The population there is estimated at 140,000.

Last week, Tourism Authority of Thailand Kuala Lumpur launched the Korat Nakhon Ratchasima (นครราชสีมา) Roadshow at the new Intercontinental Hotel (formerly Nikko Hotel) in Kuala Lumpur.

Together with the entourage of hoteliers and hoteliers from Korat Nakhon Ratchasima (นครราชสีมา), the event was aimed to promote Korat Nakhon Ratchasima (นครราชสีมา) to local travel agencies.

Korat Nakhon Ratchasima (นครราชสีมา) is approx. one and half hour drive from Bangkok. It offers eco-tourism, homestays and country home style holidays. The other attraction includes the Petrified Museum, Khao Yai National Park, Ban Prasat archaeological site, Korat Zoo, Thao Suranaree Monument and many more.
