Celebrate ‘Infinite Prosperity’ Chinese New Year at IPC Shopping Centre
Chinese New Year is just around the corner and it is time to shop and spend time with your family. This year, IPC Shopping Centre showcases the ‘Infinite Prosperity’ Chinese New Year decorations with their Infinity Bamboo Garden. We recently brought our kids to check out the ‘Infinite Prosperity’ Chinese New Year decorations.
We visit the centre quite often as it is very convenient for us to head there. Our boys love the place too as there are many family-friendly facilities such as kids’ toilet, playground and more.
There is also a special entrance for kids at IPC Shopping Centre.
The Bamboo Garden decoration can be found at the Ground Floor of the shopping centre.
The Bamboo Garden layout is in the shape of an infinity symbol to represent infinite joy, laughter, wealth, health, peace, and harmony.
As you can see from the photos, the Bamboo Forest is decorated with prosperous decors and our boys love it. The cylinder light decorations are similar to the ones at Arashiyama Train Station in Kyoto.
From 18th January to 17th February 2019, there will be workshops organized every weekend for kids, and God of Prosperity Walkabout. See if you can catch Choy San Yeh!

Last weekend, we brought our boys to join the Fortune Pouch Workshop and all these workshops are FREE (on a first come, first serve basis with 30 kids per session). The workshops will be guided and it is good to see the boys enjoying themselves.
Our youngest boy shows his ‘Lucky Coin Pouch’.
The workshops are located on the 2nd Floor and my advice is to register ahead of time as there are many kids during weekend.
You can also join IPC Shopping Centre’s Kids Program called SMA Club. You can register online and collect your membership card from the Information Counter at the Ground Floor. It comes with free toy.
These are exclusive toys for SMA Club members.
Our youngest boy loves the toy and carries it around with him now.
During this festive period, shoppers will be rewarded too. With every purchase of a minimum of RM100 in a single receipt at any retail outlets in IPC, you will take home one (1) set of 2019 IPC red packet of good fortune. Shoppers who spend a minimum of RM800 in a maximum combination of 2 receipts will walk away with one (1) bamboo stainless steel tumbler and IPC red packets.
Don’t forget that IPC is also a food haven. Download the IPC app and try the Mood Menu. It will show you the restaurants based on your mood via your Spotify playlist. How cool is that? Read my review here.
From now until 17th February 2019, bring your kids to IPC Shopping Centre. Let them participate in the workshops or enjoy the kids-friendly facilities like the playground. Let the family involve in activities that sparks joy in our life. We would like to wish everyone Happy Chinese New Year and all the best in health and wealth.
