parkson suria klcc closing down

The Parkson departmental store will be closing down the Suria KLCC outlet soon. They are one of the earliest tenants in Suria KLCC. Parkson opened in 1998 and they will be closing down on 18 February 2019.

There was a notice on its Facebook Page yesterday (which they removed it later on), Parkson will be having ‘moving out sale’ on its Suria KLCC outlet until 17 February. The notice stated everything must go and maybe it is time to revisit Suria KLCC for last minute shopping for Chinese New Year.

If you are planning to visit Suria KLCC during this festive season, do check out their Chinese New Year decorations, the Chinese New Year activities and performance at the Centre Court, special redemptions and also CSR merchandise selling. We did a review recently and you can read it at Celebrate Chinese New Year at Suria KLCC 2019.

Parkson is currently occupying three levels with 126,000 square feet in Suria KLCC. They also owned more than 100 stores in the region with over 40 in Malaysia.

Last year, Parkson closed down Maju Junction outlet and also the Sungei Wang Plaza outlet. In Vietnam, they closed down the Parkson Flemington outlet in Ho Chi Minh City.

If you plan to get some last minute good deals, make sure you visit Parkson in Suria KLCC by 17 February 2019. Remember to check out Suria KLCC’s Chinese New Year decorations and activities too.

It is sad to see Parkson moving out from Suria KLCC. They have been around for over 20 years. Parkson is still around in Pavilion KL in the city.
