We were at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre or better known as MITEC recently and we stumbled upon a café called Anggun Chef Café. It is located near MITEC’s South Entrance opposite Hall 4. It is a permanent ‘pop-up’ style café offering fusion food and homemade sauces.
You will be surprised what this pop-up café can offer on top of their top quality coffee. Check out their menu at Anggun Chef Cafe and they will only cook per order so these are not pre-cooked meals.
There are chairs and tables available at Anggun Chef Café. On top of that, their food are served on paper and plastic plates and containers so it is easy for on the go customers.
Let’s check out some of their food, we tasted.
Deep fried Chicken Chop & Black Pepper Sauce
This their version of deep fried chicken chop with black pepper sauce and comes with fries and salad. It is crispy on the outer layer and juicy inside and it complements well with the black pepper sauce. This is simple and nice.
Chicken Parmigiana
This is similar to the deep fried chicken chop but topped with the tomato and cheese sauce. if you like cheese, Chicken parmigiana is the one you should order.
Nasi minyak
Nasi minyak is a popular Malay dish. The rice is fragrant and this is only available on Fridays only.
Asam Pedas Lamb Grill
This is a unique twist to the usual lamb grill or lamb chop. The sauce they used is their own signature asam pedas sauce. It wasn’t that spicy and it goes well with the tender juicy lamb chop.
Chilli Clam Spaghetti
The chilli clam spaghetti is for the mussels lover. The chili sauce always work well with noodles and spaghetti and this is really good.
Rendang Peanut Butter Chicken Patty
Big fan of chicken burger? This homemade chicken patty is coated with their signature rendang peanut butter sauce. You get the taste of the mild spicy rendang with peanut butter with the chicken patty. This is not your usual chicken burger and it is a must try for those who are looking for something unique with a local flavour.
