KLIA2 Is Expanding Immigration Arrival Hall for Visit Malaysia 2020
Good news for International travellers visiting Malaysia for Visit Malaysia 2020 via KLIA2. KLIA2 is expanding the Immigration Arrival Hall and it is expected to complete by 31 December 2019. We spotted the renovation recently when we flew back from Tokyo to KLIa2 last week.
Last month, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) announced that they will be working closely with several ministries and government agencies for seamless experience for passengers at KLIA2 Immigration Arrival Hall ahead of Visit Malaysia 2020.
The expansion of the KLIA2 Immigration Arrival Hall will relocate Eraman Emporium. From the pictures, you can see that there will be new counters and Autogates placed in front of the baggage area. This means visitors will reach the baggage area after the Immigration Arrival Hall in KLIA2.
The new configuration and design of the new Immigration counters and Autogates will help to minimise the congestion that is happening now at KLIA2 Arrival Hall. This has been an issue since day one of KLIA2 and credit must be given to Malaysia Airports for expanding the Immigration Arrival Hall for Visit Malaysia 2020.
Malaysia Airports will be expecting breaking record numbers of International travellers from around the world in conjunction of Visit Malaysia 2020. We hope this new KLIA2 Is Immigration Arrival Hall expansion will give a good first impression for International travellers to Malaysia.
