Causeway 353 Hotel Melbourne Review
Causeway 353 Hotel Melbourne Review
There are dozens of boutique hotels in Melbourne and it is tough to find a good one. During my last trip to Melbourne, I stayed at Causeway 353 Hotel. My stay was sponsored by Tourism Victoria and Tourism Australia as I was invited for a media trip in Victoria. I have no restrictions or obligations (by sponsors) to review my stay so this is an honest review.
The Causeway 353 Hotel is part of the Causeway Hotels group. There are three Causeway hotels in Melbourne and the other two is the Hotel Causeway and Causeway Inn On the Mall.
Causeway 353 Hotel is located at 353 Little Collins Street, Melbourne. Stones away to tram station, restaurants, pubs, bars and shopping arcades.
The hotel is located in the block of shops and restaurants. It is quite hard to miss the lobby as there are signs everywhere.
The room comes with a King size bed and most standard features in a hotel room. The first impression was the room is bright and I love the natural light from the window. I don’t prefer gloomy rooms (it is subjective).
The room has a LCD TV, a long working desk and a little sofa. The little sofa is handy when you want to read under the natural light but who will stay in a hotel room to read during day anyways?
The wardrobe’s door is converted to mirrors. It makes the room spacious.
There is a microwave in the room. Hence, it is something which is quite common in hotel or apartments in Victoria. You can always grab some food from convenience shops, Coles or Woolsworth and heat it up in the room.
The bathroom looks clean and sharp. There is a standing shower but no bathtub.
I stayed in Causeway 353 hotels for a few nights and it was really convenient to meet up friends at bars and coffee places which is walking distance from the hotel. Overall, it was a good experience and the front desk staffs are very helpful. I don’t mind staying there again.
