Adventure in Perlis Day One with Santai Magazine

This will be the first of many travelogues featuring on our site. We are trying hard to clear off the backlogs and that is the reason that we have not been traveling for the past few months.

Perlis is the northernmost state in Peninsula Malaysia. It shares border with Southern Thailand. It is also the smallest state in Malaysia. With collaboration from Santai Magazine and Tourism Malaysia Perlis, I travelled to Perlis late last year with media and blogger friends. After a good few hours of bus ride on the North South Highway from Kuala Lumpur, we reached the state which is famous for its paddy fields.

The landscape was lush full green paddy fields on both side of the highway.

We reached Perlis late and we checked in to our hotel at Seri Malaysia Hotel Perlis.

It was a brand new hotel and rooms and the facilities were impressive. I stayed in Seri Malaysia hotels before and I must admit that this hotel raised the bar in terms of quality and services.

We dined in the hotel and rested for the next day. The hotel is surrounded with beautiful paddy fields.

Peaceful and quiet, we rest ourselves for the great adventures on day two. Stay tuned for day two, adventures guaranteed!
