Nik Corner Nasi Lemak at FRIM (Forest Reserve Institute of Malaysia)
You probably visit FRIM (Forest Reserve Institute of Malaysia) every weekend and have a nice jog or hike there but you probably didn’t know there is one stall selling nasi lemak. FRIM (Forest Reserve Institute of Malaysia) is one of the most beautiful places in Kuala Lumpur for cycling, jogging or hiking.
As a forest reserve, it is a jungle in there. There are also a waterfall and a canopy walk in FRIM. I used to go there weekly for hiking to lose some weight until I get lazy to go there anymore. If you are visiting Kuala Lumpur and want to have a feel of rainforest by not traveling far, FRIM (Forest Reserve Institute of Malaysia) is the perfect place.
So where you go next after your weekly daily routine? You can easily spoilt it by visiting Nik Corner stall at Jalan Foxworthy (map below). It is a small stall that offers simple Malay food and in the morning they sell nasi lemak.
The beauty of having a sinful meal like nasi lemak after an hour of hiking is you won’t regret it. You just burn the necessary calories for it.
They sell decent nasi lemak and I love their rendang. I’m not a sambal person and I love chicken rendang to go with my nasi lemak. It is really convenient to come here and this is definitely comfort food.
