The Bites Cafe Lake Fields Sg. Besi

There are a few cafes are getting popular in Lake Fields Sg Besi and the Bites Café is one of them. I was in Lake Fields some time ago and I stumble upon the café and why not for breakfast.

Lake Fields is close to Malay villages as well as the Lake Fields community which is built by YTL Properties. You can find many Malay restaurants here and interesting like a few cafes.

That is the reason The Bites Café is a pork free café and most of the staffs are Malays. I went there by myself so I ordered a coffee and one of their signature breakfasts.

I thought it was funny that most tables were reserved but the waitress told me it will be packed in an hour or so during the weekend so she didn’t allow me to have a bigger table despite the café was empty. Well, she was wrong that morning, the crowd didn’t fill up the tables.

The latte didn’t disappoint me at all. I needed the “kick” to get my day moving.

They are popular with their waffle breakfasts. I ordered the most sinful waffles I can find in the menu, Grilled Chicken and Waffle Sandwich (RM 16.90)

Grilled Chicken and Waffle Sandwich comes with grilled chicken, sunny side up (fried egg), melted cheese, mushroom sauce, fries and salad. The waffle is soft in texture and it goes well with the mushroom sauce and the melted cheese. The grilled chicken is hidden under the egg in this picture but it was well cooked. Comparing with other “big breakfast”, I think this value for money and this easily good for two people.

The Bites Café didn’t disappoint me and definitely one of the better cafes in Klang Valley.
