On our recent trip to Hong Kong, we stayed in Stanley. Stanley is a small town and also a tourist attraction in Hong Kong. It is not the most popular tourist attraction but you can still find tourists and locals visiting Stanley for the Stanley Market and the Stanley Beach.
Stanley is located in a peninsula on Hong Kong Island. It is near the Repulse Bay and Shek O and it is popular with the Stanley’s prison too.
They called it “Chek Chue” as it is name of the original village town and it is a quiet and serene place to stay.
We stayed in this new hotel called Mini Hotel in Stanley. It is apartment converted hotel and this is one of the three Mini Hotels in Hong Kong. They are all compact in size, smart design, affordable with great service. All their hotels rooms are painted in bright white with mirrors and most important of all the rooms are clean.

The room is extremely small and that’s why it is called ‘mini’. If you have never experienced a small hotel room before, this is the place for you to stay. It is best for one to two persons to stay in Mini Hotel.
The hotel is located in great location as it is within walking distance to the post office, the bus station, Stanley beach, Stanley Market as well as Stanley Waterfront.
The Mini Stanley Hotel will be opening in early 2016 and we were the first few who stayed in the hotel. They are only available for monthly rental service from HK$8000 per month and you can either book with them or on Agoda.com.

this place is indeed “mini” but dont mind, coz usually i will maximise my time exploring the place and just go back to hotel for shower and sleep
Although the room is small, but look clean and tidy!!! But the most important is I love white colour!!

A small but cosy hotel… I won’t mind staying there.. it is basic and a little cramp but pretty and can sleep in comfort..
The place looks pretty adequate for travellers. And it is also the first time I heard of Stanley. Thanks for the info.
Clean and comfortable hotel. Only the room so small and only can accommodate one person.

Look so nice. My friend is in HK now. But just for short term. Don’t know anyone who will be staying at HK soon, else, I can intro them this.

This is a decent and clean place plus the price also reasonable in Hong Kong. Going to check out more about it.
Been to Hong Kong couple of time but never stay at this kind of hotel before. Although the room really tiny size but it’s seem tidy and comfort. =)
tho it’s tight and small but just love how they do it up and make it fresh and modern
I guess living in a Mini Hotel would be another experience throughout the trip 🙂
