Eat Well, Digest Well This Chinese New Year

It is the time of the year again and Chinese New Year is just right in the corner. Every year, we feast like no tomorrow during Chinese New Year as some festive food only appears annually.

The beauty of being a Malaysian is we have more festive food than other Chinese in the rest of the world. Yee Sang is a fine example of Malaysia’s creation for Chinese New Year and also other festive food passed down by generations.

The other festive food during Chinese New Year is the cookies. Traditionally there are only a few types of cookies but now with innovation, there are more cookies available. Thus, you can even find Hong Kong and Macau festive food in Malaysia now every year.

From Chinese New Year’s eve (some earlier) until 15th of Lunar Calendar, we feast almost every day. Having so much good food will of course have some repercussion. Too much food and drink may cause heartburn or indigestion which is why Gaviscon Double Action comes in to place handy during the festive seasons.

We are regular consumers of Gaviscon as it is handy when it comes to heartburn and indigestion. Of course, Gaviscon Double Action gives complete relief from heartburn and indigestion.

How it works is simple. The Gaviscon Double Action is a combination of acid-neutralizing ingredients and a special Alginate which creates a foam barrier in the stomach keeps acid down in the stomach to where it belongs and provides long-lasting relief.

If you are feeling uneasy after a huge feast, just take the Gaviscon Double Action. It helps to sooth your tummy as well as the heart burn. This is really handy and we always keep one at home at all times and you can buy it in most supermarkets and pharmacies.
