St. Regis Langkawi Review
St. Regis Langkawi Review
St. Regis Langkawi is one of the newest luxury hotels in Langkawi and Malaysia. The official opening of St. Regis Langkawi is on 29th May 2016 and it will be officiated by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Malaysia (Royal Highness of Malaysia) Tuanku Abdul Halim and the prime minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Haji Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak. It will be grand event with many VIPs are expected to attend to Malaysia’s first St. Regis Hotel. The St. Regis Hotel in Kuala Lumpur is the 2nd St. Regis Hotel in Malaysia.
The hotel is owned by Integrated Nautical Resort Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Rajawali Group and the Ministry of Finance Malaysia. The brainchild and owner of St. Regis Langkawi is Indonesian Tan Sri Peter Sodakh, Chairman of Rajawali Group who brings the St. Regis brand into Langkawi and Malaysia.
Since the official opening is just a few days away, we went to St. Regis Langkawi to review this spectacular luxury hotel. The hotel is just minutes away from the Kuah Town as well as the Jetty Point. The hotel is 30 minutes away and 20km from Langkawi International Airport.
The hotel is nestled within an idyllic cove with breath taking view of the Strait of Malacca. St. Regis Langkawi offers 85 suites with 4 water villas and their signature St. Regis Butler Service.
We were traveling with celebrity friend Mynn Lee (www.shewalkstheworld.com) to Langkawi with collaboration with MalaysiaAirlines. The St. Regis Langkawi is part of our itinerary as we want to experience top luxury hotel in Langkawi.
When we drove in to the hotel, we were welcomed by the misty forest like at the entrance of the main lobby. The stunning view of the green entrance of the main lobby is just the appetizer of the probably the most beautiful hotel in Malaysia to date. With complimentary valet service, we walked in to the main lobby then greeted by the St. Regis butlers who are well trained in English tradition.
The ambience of the hotel is ‘Rainforest meets Riviera’ so you get to mixture feeling of rainforest and also the buildings with European mansion architecture. The main lobby is bright, classy and comfortable.
Let us show you some of the pictures we took in St. Regis Langkawi including their restaurants and bars. These are actual pictures of St. Regis Langkawi and it is captured with SONY RX10 II camera. You can also read 15 Reasons to stay at St. Regis Langkawi

The paintings are drawn by local artists and there are few hundreds of them. The theme for the painting is ‘local’ to show local Langkawi places and culture.
There are hundreds of chandeliers in the hotels and most of them are unique. These bronze chandeliers are purely handmade. You can find many other bronze sculptures around the hotel too.

this is such a gorgeous hotel… I really hope I get the chance to visit it or stay in one fine day….
Very impressive lodgings there but Langkawi is such a feel-good destination that i’d enjoy myself even if I sleep in a shanty. Having said that, who wouldn’t love to be pampered?
Ohh wow.. this is so cool. Never try st Regis langkawi. Look amazing and relaxing.. should try on my next vacation.. tq dear
Wow, nice relaxing stay, love the elegance setting 🙂
