Where to stay in Bangkok? It seems to be a tough question to answer when there are hundreds of hotels in the city. However, if you know what and where you want to stay, you can narrow down the hotels easily. If you want a unique hotel to stay in Bangkok without burning a hole in your pocket, then you should consider SleepBox Sukhumvit 22.

SleepBox Sukhumvit 22 is a brand new container hotel in Bangkok. It is located at Sai Nam Thip 3 Alley, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, Thailand. It is 5 minutes of driving from EmQuartier shopping mall and Phrom Pong BTS station.

SleepBox Sukhumvit is nested and hidden in the neighbourhood of Sukhumvit Soi 22. It is quiet here and located near a few restaurants and 7-Eleven.

For the first glance, you will be impressed by the smart and beautiful design of the hotel and how they use some of the vintage items to decorate the place. It doesn’t look like a container hotel at all. When it comes to designs, the Thais really good at it. They can do wonders in terms of creative interior designs.

You can find vintage bikes, chairs, tables and even fridge. The wooden panel floors give the interior a comfortable feeling and experience and not forgetting the courteous staffs too.

There is a lift in the hotel in case you are lazy to walk up the stairs.

The corridors are lighted up by the bulb lights similar with the lobby. The room doors are actual container’s doors restored and painted.

There is a dorm of four pax and also double room available in SleepBox, we took the double room with the private bathroom.

How is a room in a container looks like? Well, we shot a short room tour video for you to view.

The room is smartly designed in a container and the room is impressive. For the price you pay and for the size of a container, this delivers more than expected.

We get a King Size bed, flat screen TV, sofa, working desk and open wardrobe. No complains on that. WIFI is free by the way.

For the bathroom, it is white and bright. Clean and the size is justifiable within a container.

They do offer breakfast in their common room and that is also another comfortable place to chill.

Since the hotel is located within the city and a bit far from the BTS Skytrain or MRT Subway, they do offer tuk-tuk services daily from 9 am to 5 pm. We took the tuk tuk ride to nearby BTS station as well MRT station. We took the taxi back to the hotel at night and from Phrom Phong BTS Station it cost around 50 baht only.

We stayed a couple of nights in SleepBox Sukhumvit and we enjoyed the peacefulness as well as the comfort of this container hotel. The room is clean and we love the design of the hotel.
