TREC is a brand new ‘happening’ area in Kuala Lumpur with restaurants, clubs, live music venue and the new IKEA. Located in the front views of spectacular greens of the Royal Selangor Golf Club in the city centre, TREC is the talk of the town in Kuala Lumpur. MEJA Kitchen + Bar @ TREC is a contemporary Asian Fusion restaurant with a seating capacity of 150 persons. The design and interior of this restaurant is modern contemporary and they offer all-day dining experience from lunch till late. They open daily, 7 days a week from noon to 3 am. If you need a place for food after partying in Kuala Lumpur, MEJA Kitchen + Bar @ TREC is the place you should be.

Recently we went to MEJA Kitchen + Bar @ TREC for their new CONNOR’S Stout Porter Infused Menu. If you followed us, you know that we have been traveling to restaurants to check out CONNOR’S Stout Porter Infused Menu and so far they have been very impressive.

For the CONNOR’S Stout Porter infused menu, MEJA’s Chef Eric prepared two special dishes and they are Premium Slice Beef Spaghetti and Crispy Fried Chicken Wings. Two simple dishes with a twist on its taste.

Premium Slice Beef over light CONNOR’S Stew Spaghetti with mixed capsicum is probably one of the most creative dishes created with CONNOR’S Stout Porter.

According to the chef, the beef slices were soaked into CONNOR’S Stout Porter before they grilled it and that’s why the premium beef is so aromatic and yet savoury. You will wish to have more of the Premium Slice Beef as they are tender and full over flavour. You won’t regret having this if you are a beef and pasta lover and it complements well with CONNOR’S Stout Porter.

Who doesn’t love crispy fried chicken? They are always sinful and yet addictive. For a delicious fried chicken, the ingredients used for marination as well as the technique of deep frying is equally important.

At MEJA Kitchen + Bar, their chicken wings were marinated with the syrup made in-house which comes from a combination of lemon zest, cinnamon stick, lime zest, chilli and sugar ingredients and lastly cooked with CONNOR’S Stout Porter. This is the secret recipe of their gorgeous juicy crispy fried chicken. To enjoy it to another level, just dip the wings into their homemade CONNOR’S Chili dipping sauce. Trust us, this is really addictive and it complement well with CONNOR’S Stout Porter.

Overall, we enjoyed the design and atmosphere of MEJA Kitchen + Bar @ TREC. The two CONNOR’S Stout Porter infused dishes are nothing more than impressive. Both the dishes have a little sweetness taste of malt as well as aromatic taste and it complement well with CONNOR’S Stout Porter. MEJA Kitchen + Bar @ TREC new CONNOR’S Stout Porter infused dishes is definitely worth the taste.
