Anne Elizabeth is a popular Western cuisine restaurant located at 1, Jalan Manis 4, Taman Segar. You can always spot the long queue in front of the restaurant during dinner times when you drive past that restaurant.
We went to Anne Elizabeth twice and we were lucky to have tables as we went there early. Before this restaurant, it was an Italian restaurant and they struggled for over decade.
Things changed drastically when Anne Elizabeth took over the restaurant. They became popular in the neighbourhood and they have many loyal customers.
Anne Elizabeth is a Western cuisine restaurant. They have pasta and the grills. Trust us, stick to the grills.
They have a wide selection of meat such as beef, pork, chicken and lamb. They are popular with their Iberico pork, sausages and steaks.
It is simple. You pick the meat, they will cook and grill it for you. It will take probably 10 -15 minutes for them to cook your meal. Not to mention, the service here is pretty good.
We had bacon roll, cheese sausage, pork shoulder in Guinness and Iberico Abanico. Overall, the food here is good and hence the crowd.
They will serve the food here with mustard, mushroom or white pepper sauce. The food is good even without the sauces in our opinion.
We cheese sausage is good and we loved it. It is juicy, tasty and the cheese is bonus.
Pork shoulder in Guinness is good but it is not that fantastic compare to Iberico Abanico. Iberico Abanico is the part that wraps the ribs from the outside In our opinion, order Iberico Abanico with a side dish like salad or mashed potatoes. The reason is the Iberico Abanico is slightly greasy. However the taste is really good and the texture is soft and juicy, the Iberico Abanico is not cheap but it’s worth it.
