Ron Ron Slow Bar Bangkok
Ron Ron Slow Bar Bangkok
This is one of the most unique bars in Bangkok. This is Ron Ron Slow Bar, a café and it offers mocktails but it opens on day time only. On top of that, they offer really tasty Italian style pizza that will makes you come for more!
Ron Ron Slow Bar is located at 2898/11 Charoen Krung 72/2 Alley, Khwaeng Wat PhrayaKrai, Bangkok. It is just minutes away from Asiatique Bangkok and they open from 8 am to 6 pm.
The bar is on the 3rd floor and you can easily spot the entrance (opposite the 7 Eleven). Take a brisk walk up and you will reach Ron Ron Slow Bar.
Once you enter the café, you feels like walking into an old European restaurant. The pinkish wall, the old parquet flooring with the antique chairs, tables, paintings and décor.
Every corner is a very Instagrammable spot. You want some good photos, Ron Ron Slow Bar will gives you all the great spots.
With the soothing music and the cold blasting air con, I really enjoyed myself here at Ron Ron Slow Bar Bangkok. You can take time checking out the books, the paintings as well as the sculptures. If you are good with piano, why not make some noise?
There is one spiral stairs that leads to another hidden level with sofas and tables. If you want privacy with your friends, you might want to move up to this level.
After taking dozens of photos around the café, I sat down and check out their menu. They offer cocktails and their signature coffees. With the heat outside, I decided to go ahead with their recommended mocktail, Poisoned Apple.
Poisoned Apple is Cold Brew Coffee, Apple Juice, Apply Syrup, Apple Cider, Tonic Water, Smoked Cinnamon Infused Apple Juice. I honestly loved this mocktail as recommended as it comes with the sweet and bitter taste of apple and coffee and the aroma of the smoked cinnamon roll.
For I ordered the Salmon and Burrata and Flame Grilled Kurobuta Pork.
Salmon and Burrata comes with smoked Norwegian Salmon, Burrata Cheese, Wild Rocket, Tomato, Mozzarella and Balsamic Glaze. This is one of the best pizzas I had in Bangkok. From what I know, the owners of this place went to Italy to get the recipe and methodology to create the pizzas here. Hence, the taste and the texture of this Salmon and Burrata pizza is so good.
Flame Grilled Kurobuta comes with grilled kurobuta pork belly and egg yolk. This looks similar to Japanese style don with only egg yolk. The grilled kurobuta (Japanese black pig) pork belly is tender and this is really tasty.
My regrets is not ordering their signature coffee. They offer many different types of coffee beans and they are famous for their coffee. Maybe I will come back again for another round of coffee as this place is super chill place with good food.
Lastly, do check out Ron Ron Slow Bar Bangkok for their latest offerings. They do offer live band from time to time so remember to check out their page at: https://www.facebook.com/RonRonSlowBar/
