Here is the latest update of the flood situation in Chiang Mai in September 2024. There were heavy flood in various locations of Nothern Thailand which includes Chiang Mai. It was reported in the news as well as social media and here is the latest update.

I flew to Chiang Mai yesterday 29 September and things are getting better. It has been sunny days for the past few days and most affected flood are cleaned up by the locals.

There are still some flood water at low areas around Chiang Mai but the situation is good in the city. There was no rain, river level is decreasing and so far there is no flood in the city.
