Happy New Year 2011! 2010 has been an exciting year for PlacesAndFoods.com and hopefully more exciting for 2011!
Many would be curious how I would blog about nasi lemak of a franchise chain such a PapaRich Café. To be honest, I am quite an admirer for some of their local food particularly their nasi lemak. Seriously, you have to try it. The rice is tasty with aroma of coconut, the “sambal” is good, the curry is thick and do look at the size of the juicy curry chicken. The total package is unbelievable.
I brought my parents there for lunch last week and although it was only RM 8.90, my parents enjoyed it. It was a good experience to savor such good nasi lemak at PapaRich Café. They definitely set the standard high for the local franchise.
Honestly, any cafe selling Nasi Lemak is a sellout but I guess some of the busy people in the city or those who have not a clue about authentic foods have little option but to eat at these places. Me, personally, I wouldn’t eat Nasi Lemak at cafes like this but i would do a Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa ANYTIME! Want to eat, go for the real thing – That’s my motto.
After u try at Pappa Rich then u feedback on it. Trust me, its different.
Yes the food does look delicious, wish you had included a few pictures of the cafe as well!
If I put the pictures of the cafe it will be too commercialize. I am being neutral here, thanks for commenting.
