Citygate Outlets, Hong Kong Famous Brand Factory Outlets
Citygate Outlets, Hong Kong Famous Brand Factory Outlets
Want to shop famous and luxury brands for a great price in Hong Kong? Check out Citygate outlets at the heart of Tung Chung. This is the one and only brand factory outlets in Hong Kong so don’t waste time to look somewhere else.
As recommended by buddy Steph, Rachel and I went to the Citygate Outlets for shopping after visiting the NgongPing’s Big Buddha. We were supposed to go to Disneyland after NgongPing but we were held back by Citygate Outlets.
Brands such as NIKE, Bathing Ape, Adidas, Puma, New Balance, Calvin Klein, Timberland, Quiksilver, Ralph Lauren, Reebok, Coach and many more are available there. Discount is from 30% to 70% all year round.
We spent quite a long time shopping before we left to Disneyland. After Disneyland, we went back to Citygate outlets for second round of shopping.
Some outlets closed at 9pm while the rest closed at 10pm. My tip is to go there early, take the whole day to shop. There are 2-3 levels of brands factory outlets, dozens of popular and luxury brands.
I bought my winter jacket from Adidas for HKD 700 after 30% discount. After conversion to US$ dollar and Ringgit, it is worth it.
I also bought a sandal and a shoe from Timberland outlet. The shoe cost less than HKD 700 (RM 280/US$93)
and there are a huge variety of designs available there for the value less than HKD 1k. The Timberland winter jackets are selling from HKD 800, it is dirt cheap.
Overall, we only spent less than 3 hours at Citygate outlets as we didn’t anticipate such great deals from beginning or else we will dedicate one day for it. Please bear in mind, the meaning of cheap is by comparing the prices of the outlets there with the outlets in Malaysia. Thus in other countries, pricing at Citygate outlets could be more expensive. The experience above reflects our own experiences at Citygate Outlets, this is neither a paid post nor an advertorial. I hope by blogging about this could help more bargain hunters, good luck!
