Boca Oriental, Strait of Magallen, CHILE: Picture of the Week
For those who have seen Boca Oriental, they must be crossing the Strait of Magallen. I was there early last year traveling from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia on a road trip and to my surprise, I need to pass by Chile to re-enter Argentina. If not, our group need to detour to a very long route to Ushuaia.
Boca Oriental is located just beside Strait of Magallen and hundreds of cars and trucks cross the strait daily. We were waiting for our turn to board the ferry to bring us across the strait. The beauty of the Strait of Magallen is sightings of the wild Commerson’s dolphins.
I was in Chile last year for less than four hours, part of my two weeks roadtrip from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world.
