Friday Prayers at Masjid Jamek: Picture of the Week
A few months ago, I was at Masjid Jamek LRT station waiting for my train to PWTC. It was Friday afternoon and the Masjid Jamek (mosque) was having their Friday’s prayer.
Immediately, it caught my attention as I was positioned well for a nice picture. Equipped with my Panasonic Lumix TZ15, I took a few picture of Masjid Jamek and I loved it.
Masjid Jamek is one of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur and it is located in the junction of Klang river and Gombak river and it was designed by Arthur Benison Hubback. The mosque is officially opened by the Sultan of Selangor in 1909 after two years of construction.
It is also located near the Star LRT train station and Putra LRT station.
