RERA Chitose Outlet Mall Review
Planning to visit Sapporo Hokkaido Japan soon? Do you know that there are two outlets near Sapporo Hokkaido? They are Mitsui Premium Outlet in Sapporo and RERA Chitose Outlet Mall near the New Chitose International Airport. We didn’t manage to visit Mitsui Premium Outlet and only visited RERA Chitose Outlet Mall due to its near distance to the airport.
RERA Chitose Outlet Mall is not as huge as Mitsui Premium Outlet but it is near Minami-Chitose Station (less than 5 minutes of walk). You can check out the outlets in their website at http://www.outlet-rera.com/english/#sec02
There are not many premium brands in RERA Chitose Outlet Mall but you can find many popular sport brands such as Adidas, NIKE, Reebok (under ABC-Mart), GAP, Champion, LEGO, Kappa, Zara, Clarks, Columbia, North Face, COACH, Seiko, Calvin Klein Underwear, Triumph, Sylvanian Families, Samsonite, Element and more.
Are you a big fan of Adidas NMD shoes? For the Adidas fans, you can check out ABC-Mart that carries brands such as Adidas, NIKE and Reebok. If you plan to find Adidas NMD sale, this is the place you can go. There are discounts on Adidas NMD here. The discount can up to 40% on selected Adidas NMD models.
Not forgetting there are selected Adidas Ultra Boost shoes on sale too. If you want some good real deals on Adidas NMD or Adidas Ultra Boost shoes, you can visit ABC-Mart in RERA Chitose Outlet Mall.
When I visited Mitsui Outlet Park Kurashiki in Okayama in December 2017, there are no sales on Adidas NMD or Adidas Ultra Boost designs. The hype is over and there are more stocks available so they need to clear stocks in premium outlets now.
There are also Reebok Insta Pump Fury shoes on sale and also Adidas apparels on sale too. Reebok Insta Pump is not popular in Malaysia but it is still very popular in Japan and Hong Kong. You can find many cool colours and designs at discounted rate.
For food, there are ramen shops and other restaurants available in RERA Chitose Mall.
Here what we think about the RERA Chitose Outlet Mall. It is a small premium outlet missing big luxury brands like Prada, Hugo Boss, Gucci and more.
The location of this outlet is ideal as it is next to Minami Chitose Station. For Malaysians or Thais who are flying with AirAsia X, the departure flight is in the morning so we chose to stay in Chitose so we can reach the airport early.
This is one of the few places to visit in Chitose and taking the JR train from Chitose Station to Minami Station is 170 Yen One Way. If you have the Hokkaido JR Pass, it is free of charge as these are JR Train stations and you can buy your Hokkaido JR Pass at Klook.com. If you plan to walk, it is around 30-40 minutes from Chitose to RERA Chitose Outlet Mall.
We got some great deals in RERA Chitose Outlet Mall namely NIKE and Adidas. It is our last minute shopping before we leave Hokkaido back to Malaysia. There are also food and souvenirs you can buy in RERA Chitose Outlet Mall. We just got back from our week long holiday in Sapporo Hokkaido and more stories will come soon. Thank you for reading.
