Malaysia International Gourmet Festival MIGF 2009 with Al-Amar, The Lebanese Cuisine at Pavilion

*PORK FREE*

My second Malaysia International Gourmet Festival MIGF 2009 was an interesting affair. I was invited to one of the best Lebanese restaurant in town, Al-Almar. Al-Amar in Arabic means “the moon”, and the setting really blends with the name. I haven’t been to any Middle-Eastern restaurant in recent times, so this visit was a pure excitement to me. Located6th floor in Pavilion, one of the most premier shopping center in Malaysia, Al Amar offers exciting MIGF menu with attractive price.

Malaysia International Gourmet Festival MIGF 2009, a brand name to help our Malaysian cuisine to a greater heights.

The entrance of the restaurant in Pavilion…

Chef Pierre Chahda, a pure Lebanese chef with a huge passion in cooking.

The lovely interior.

Crowd during lunch time.

The modern Middle Eastern setting was breathtaking.

The balcony that’s often crowded during night times.

Lovely setting with nice mirrors on the wall.

Next page, on the food.
