The New York City 2 Hour Manhattan Cruise: Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridges
The Williamsburg Bridge
Last it will also cruise under the Williamsburg Bridge before reaching United Nations. The Williamsburg bridge is opened in 1903 with the cost of 24 million! At that time, it was the longest suspension bridge span in the world. – Wikipedia.org
The cruise was from Pier 83 at 42 Street on the Hudson River. I enjoyed the spectacular views of the infamous Manhattan skyline and a view of the Statue of Liberty. We watched too much TV series on the Manhattan skyline such as Sex and the City and CSI New York. Experiencing the view from the boat was quite extraordinary. The 2 hour cruise was not inclusive of Liberty Island tour. The whole journey was narrated by guides. There was an open air deck seating and it is available year round. Another must try tour but do check out the longer duration tours that inclusive of Liberty Island tour and also 7 bridges instead of 3 bridges. This is another reason that I should go to New York again for a revisit.
How to go to the The New York City 2 Hour Semi Circle Manhattan Cruise: Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridges:
Most local travel agents offer this tour. The rates should be less than US$ 30 (2010).
