The India Street, Kuching, Sarawak, MALAYSIA
This was totally unexpected. We stumbled upon India Street during our previous visit to Kuching. Our main purpose was to try some local food at the nearby food court; which is a few steps away for India Street.
The most prominent landmark for India Street would be the big arch at the entrance of the walkway. The India Street has a long pedestrian walkway with a variety of shops selling traditional colourful textiles, clothing, apparels and goldsmiths. Bargaining your way for a cheaper price could work here.
We didn’t stay at India Street for long as it was going to rain. If not, shopping would be fun there!
This is another place to visit in Kuching for an outdoor shopping experience, the traditional way.
How to go to India Street:
India Street is located in between Jalan Power, Jalan Gambir and Jalan Barrack.
The best way to go there is via taxi for my own opinion.
