Tune Hotel Waterfront Kuching Review

My first trip to Kuching, Sarawak last year with Rachel was a short and a memorable one. It was one of the many unplanned trips of my life. I would not say it was a disaster but just that we ran out of luck. We missed quite a number of tourist attractions due to public holiday and our poor planning. Trust me, we will definitely go back there again.

Since I bought the AirAsiaGo package, the package is inclusive of flight and hotel stay. We stayed at the Tune Hotel Downtown Kuching. It was my second visit to a Tune Hotel, my first was at Penang.

Tune Hotel Kuching is located directly opposite Hilton Kuching Hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the city as well as the tourist attractions. Departmental store Parkson is just in 5 min walking distance, there are pubs down the road and also restaurants all over the place.

As we checked in to our hotel room, the first impression on the room is it looks very similar to the Penang’s Tune Hotel room.

We had the room with the double bed.  It is spacious enough for me and Rachel.

We were out of the hotel most of the time, only taking our sleeps there at night. Since we went there on a public holiday, the night was pretty noisier than usual according to the front desk.

Overall, we are satisfied with our stay. We enjoyed walking around the city from the hotel rather than taking a taxi as it is really near the city. Getting back to the hotel is easier, when we got tired we took a taxi and we always ask for Hilton Hotel (Tune Hotel is located directly opposite). For the budget we paid, we are more than satisfied.
