Lately, I heard the buzz of this new budget hotel in the city. Coincidentally, the owner is a friend of mine and a few weeks ago, I was invited to review the place.

The location of Leisure Inn Hotel is very ideal. Located behind Berjaya Times Square, Leisure Inn hotel is just minutes of walking from the Berjaya Times Square Monorail Station. It is also in walking distance to dozens of restaurants and not forgetting to shopping complexes like Sungei Wang Plaza, Lot 10, StarHill and Pavilion KL.

The hotel gives me a very good first impression. The lobby is big and spacious. There, I met my friend who is also the owner. I was then brought to review rooms.

Different themes of hand painted walls in every different floor of Leisure Inn.

There is a passenger lift in the hotel and the corridors of the hotel rooms are painted beautiful with flowers.

Fly like dragonflies. Arts like these are painted all over in Leisure Inn.

Unlike conventional budget hotels, Leisure Inn gives me warmth feeling.

To me, a budget hotel must be cheap, clean and strategically located. Everything else will be a bonus. I’ve stayed in various types of budget and backpackers hotel. The good ones are from Tune Hotel group and yet Leisure Inn fares much better than in terms of space and pricing. I had quite a number of bad experiences with budget hotels. Some are seriously unfit to stay.

Private parking is available at the end of the block and the hotel has its own security guard.
Overall, Leisure Inn is strategically located near shopping centers, Monorail station and restaurant, their rooms are new, clean and comfortable, their pricing of their rooms are very attractive and they have their own security guard manning the hotel.

This is the city view from the city view rooms. Missing the Petronas Twin Towers but the KL Tower can be visibly seen. Better view at night when the city lits up!

The city view rooms are totally unbelievable with such low rates. So if you intend to stay in Kuala Lumpur for a few nights, you can try Leisure Inn hotel.
