Halal Serendipity Ice Cream at Cream, Sassafras, Victoria
On my holiday trip to Victoria Australia Day Two, I visited the Dandenong Ranges, On Puffing Billy, Olinda, Sassafras, Miss Maple’s Tea Room, Yarra Valley, Domaine Chandon, Sebel Lodge Hotel and Balgownie.
Sassafras is a small village located at the scenic Dandenong Ranges which is situated south of Olinda.
The town’s commercial centre is based around the junction of the Mount Dandenong Tourist Road and the Mountain Highway and features a diverse collection of cafes, antique and craft shops. At the road junction is the Village Green park and adjacent to that is the Sassy Plants nursery. Directly across the road from the nursery is the most recognizable building in Sassafras – the Miss Marples Tea Rooms which are housed in a beautiful two storey English Tudor style house.
Several boutique restaurants and stylish accommodation establishments are tucked away in secluded spots along forest roads around the town. – http://www.travelvictoria.com.au/sassafras/
Among the boutique restaurants in Sassafras is the Cream. It might not be the most popular restaurants in Sassafras but the Cream is worth a mention.
The Cream offers homemade jams, marmalades and jellies.
On top of that, the cream also offers Halal Serendipity Ice Creams.
Please take note only some of the ice creams are Halal but not all of them. Some of them had alcohol content.
Lastly, if you do stop in Sassafras you can have a short stop at Cream. Hence, you can also buy their homemade jams, marmalades and jellies.
