Visiting Shenzhen China is an eye opening experience. Little did I know Shenzhen has transformed to such a modern city. The city is surrounded by skyscraper buildings.

We stayed at Dong Men, Shenzhen China. Staying at the area is only for one reason, food!

The Dong Men is popular for its street food, restaurants and shopping arcades. There is a huge variety of food available in Dong Men.  One of them is the Stephen Chow’s Pissing Beef Balls.

Located at the popular East Gate Pedestrian Street of Dong Men, this stall is inspired by Stephen Chow’s movie, God of Cookery.

They have 2 types of beef balls there, the original taste soup or the spicy soup. We order the original.

Like from the movies, the beef ball is elastic. Why is it call “pissing” beef ball? There is a hole in the beef ball as you can see.

That’s where is the soup is. Every first time you bite the beef ball, there will be an explosive sensation.  It is because there is soup in every beef ball, like from the movie. The spilling of the soup is called “pissing” so it is called the pissing beef ball. Beware! The soup within the beef ball is very hot. Rachel burned her tongue accidentally as she forgot the beef ball can “piss”.
