Meeting Up with Masterchef Australia Season 2 Winner Adam Liaw

Meeting Up with Masterchef Australia Season 2 Winner Adam Liau

I’m still over the moon now while I’m writing this. Last night, I met Masterchef Australia Season 2 Winner Adam Liaw in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is currently in Malaysia promoting Malaysian food with a group of Australian journalists.

Firstly, I must thank Jennifer for the opportunity and Robert for hosting us at Chilli Espresso. I would also like to thank Sophie from Ogilvy Australia for letting us to meet Adam.

Adam and his fans (me and my friends)

It was an unexplainable experience as I never thought that I would see him here in Malaysia. I had a short chat with him and I must say he is very humble and friendly. Since it was an impromptu thing, I didn’t manage to taste his food, probably another round (if possible)? He is currently touring Malaysia and I wish him a safe flight back to Australia and hopefully we can meet up again on your next trip.

Me and Adam Liaw, the winner of Masterchef Australia Season 2

For those who glued their eyes for the Masterchef Australia Season 2 series on StarWorld in Asia, Adam Liaw was crowned as the winner after beating Callum in the finals last year. The final episode which aired in Australia is the 3rd highest rating show of all time (in Australia). Adam Liaw is currently the ambassador of Malaysian Kitchen Australia and he is heavily promoting Malaysian food in Australia. Adam Liaw’s parents are from Malaysia so it’s nice to see someone linked with Malaysia in the show. Watch it on weekdays 10.45pm (+8 GMT) every night with back to back episodes on StarWorld (711 on Astro Malaysia). For his fans, you can follow him on Twitter at Twitter.com/adamliaw
