Baba Pool Club Review Sri Panwa

When u stayed in one of the most beautiful resorts in Thailand, you need to dine as one too. Staying in Sri Panwa is one of my best stays for my travel assignments. Located at the Panwa Cape, Sri Panwa offers butler services and all the rooms are strategically designed to have the sea view. Not forgetting every room comes with a mini infinity pool for relaxation.

On top of the out of the world stay, the resort also offers restaurants with great dining experience. Baba Nest won multiple world class awards and recognition as one of the best beach bars in the world. However I didn’t dine in Baba Nest but its sister restaurant, the Baba Pool Club. I wouldn’t point fingers to anyone but I could have it at Baba Nest as I dine twice at Baba Pool Club.

Don’t get me wrong, I always prefer dining at different restaurants given the opportunity to give more exposure for the host but our tour guide messed it up.

Baba Pool Club might not have the 360 views like Baba Nest but it will leave you the same long lasting experience, I promise you.

Dinning in Baba Pool Club was an experience itself. I sat on special design cubicles at the same water level of the pool. When I sat inside, I was really close with the water and the sea view was breathtaking.

Baba Pool Club offered fusion food of Thai, Indian, Hokkien Chinese, Japanese, Western and Portuguese cuisine. A quick glance of the thick menu will know that I was spoilt with choices.

How about starting off with Sashimi Highlight (1300 TB / RM 130 / US 43) consists of 10 pcs of sashimi. The set comes with akami, salmon, Hamachi, tako and amaebi.

Next I have Tom Baba for 328 TB / RM32 / US 11. Tom Baba is a soup with mixed vegetables, oyster mushroom, roasted ground jasmine rice and herbs. The taste was something unique and refreshing.

Chicken Wings is always my favourites and it was priced at 328TB / RM32 / US 11. Baba’s infamous crispy wings were infused with lemongrass, garlic and chili. Yummy!

Crispy Morning Glory 328 TB / RM32 / US 11 was deep fried morning glory with chili paste, shrimp & coconut dressing. It was my first time having deep fried morning glory and it went well with its dressing.

Baba also offers variety vegetable dishes at 120 TB / RM 12 /US 4 per dish.

For that I had Enoki as a side dish.

Lastly, I ordered a Parma Ham Truffle Pizza for 588TB / RM 58 / US 20. The Parma Ham Truffle Pizza is topped with tomato sauce, truffle paste, parma ham, shitake mushroom, onion, garlic & mozzarella cheese. I have no complaints on this.

Luxurious dinner, amazing food and breath taking view. I couldn’t ask for more don’t I? If you are planning to surprise someone and even propose to your girlfriend, I bet you can’t wait to look for the contact details below right now.
