Horse Shoe Making Demo on Churchill Island, AUSTRALIA: Picture Of The Week
Have you heard about Churchill Island? Well, it is time for you to do so. Churchill Island is an island located just miles off Victoria Island Australia. It is connected to Phillip Island by a bridge and it is the site of the first European settlement in Victoria. It contains a farm and a homestead from 1872 era. Churchill Island is open to public to get the feel of the olden European settlement in Victoria.
The picture is taken while the horse shoe making demo is shown to the public in the farm daily. I waited for the best moment to take the picture and I tried to capture as must sparks as I could. This is the best of the lot I’ve taken. The whole horse shoe making demo only took a few minutes. It is one of the many fun activities available on the island. Thus, if you are planning to go to Victoria Island, please do stay there for a night and spend a few hours on Churchill Island. It is a great historical place for family and friends.
