The Crave for Australia’s Mrs. Mac Famous Beef Pies

For those who lived in Australia or stayed or studied in Australia, you must tried their famous take away pies. If not, you missed a big deal of Aussie experience. Comparable to our Malaysian local nasi lemak, Australia produces some of the best take away pies. Available almost everywhere spreads across Australia, Aussie take away pies is one of the most memorable experience I had when I studied in Australia for a year.

One of the particular brands I enjoyed most is Mrs. Mac Famous Beef Pies. Originated from Perth, Mrs. Mac pies are easily available throughout Australia. With the presence more than 50 years, Mrs. Mac is a household name in Australia.

My recent trip to Victoria Australia earlier this year gave me another chance of savouring these delicious take away pies.

I bought a Beef, Cheese and Bacon pie when I saw one selling near Yarra Valley. I could not resist it.

Although it is a take away pie, it comes with generous fillings of beef, cheese and bacon. Having it during the cooling weather in Victoria is memorable. Sometimes how I wish we have Mrs. Mac in Malaysia but yet again that will defeat the purpose of its Aussie’s characteristics.

This could be one of those random posts but the pies are worth a mention. Ten years before and ten years later, Mrs. Mac still did not disappoint me and my tummy.
