Blackmores 80 Deeds Campaign

What good deeds have you done lately? I am not a person good in giving but Rachel is generous when it comes to donations especially for the needy.

A fortnight ago, I almost did a good deed when I offered my services as a photographer for a Medical Mission Trip to Southern Thailand. However, I didn’t manage to go on that trip as I fell sick for almost two weeks. After weeks of food review and chowing on delicious good food, I was downed with severe food poisoning and cough. It was a misadventure and bad luck altogether. However, it won’t stop us to continue to contribute and doing good deeds.

We always believe by doing good deeds, we can help and maintain healthier and happier lives. If we are able to help the needy ones, why shouldn’t we help?

We donated goods, items and money in the past. We even went to Port Dickson to spend time with children from the orphanages and helped out in an OKU (Orang Kurang Upaya) event in Titiwangsa Lake. This is just a few good deeds we did in the past and we are embarrassed to share this because I know many people out there did more than we do.

Talking about good deeds, we heard Blackmores is doing their part in conjunction with their 80th Anniversary. For Blackmores, turning 80 is not just a mere number but it is a celebration for all people they’ve help to lead healthier and happier lives through the years.

A total of RM80,000 worth of Blackmores supplements were pledged to 25 old folks homes and underprivileged children homes in the Klang Valley & Selangor in conjunction with Blackmores’ 80th Anniversary. The announcement came at the 80th Anniversary tea-party celebration with Blackmores employees held recently at SHELTER, a home for underprivileged children in Petaling Jaya, and was attended by 20 children from the home as well as 18 senior citizens from Rumah Charis with their caregivers.

Committed to the corporate vision of creating a healthier and happier world, Blackmores enjoys an impressive track record spanning across 8 decades in providing quality healthcare products and services to the public.

Also to mark their 80th Anniversary, Blackmores launched their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the Blackmores 80 Deeds Campaign 2012.

The Blackmores 80 Deeds Campaign 2012 is now open to all Malaysians from 4th November 2012 and will end on 14th December 2012! (Extended!) The Grand Prize winner will receive a 2D/1N stay at Avillion Port Dickson and a Blackmores hamper worth RM800, while the 2nd to 8th prize winner will each receive a Blackmores hamper worth RM800. We might not be very active in doing deeds but we did our part as much as we could. If you have been doing good deeds to the society, here’s a chance to be rewarded by entering the Blackmores 80 Deeds Campaign now. We believe in good deeds and karma, do you?

  1. I remember the same type of this viral campaign in the internet before. I think it’s called pay if forward but I think this one is pre-sponsored so would be a success IMO.
