Country Club Tasmania Review Launceston
Country Club Tasmania Review Launceston
The first resort I stayed in Tasmania is the Country Club Tasmania. It is one of the most popular resorts in Launceston Tasmania, more popular for it golf course.
It is a country retreat on 145 hectares, Country Club Resort is located in bushland about 10 minutes from the centre of Launceston. Activities include golf on an 18-hole championship course, walking, wildlife-spotting, tennis, squash and horse-riding. Facilities include a boutique casino, licensed restaurants and bar, an indoor pool, gym, sauna and spa. Accommodation choices range from rooms and suites to four-star apartments. – http://www.countryclubtasmania.com.au/
The room was spacious with two queen size beds. It had most of the amenities such as TV, working desk, mini bar, small fridge, small dining table and wardrobe.
The bathroom had a nice bath tub (no standing shower) and the standard amenities. The hair dryer was there too.
Breakfast at the resort was a blessing. Fresh Tasmanian fruits and yogurts were part of breakfast.
Breakfast wasn’t complete with beautifully cooked sausages and bacons, hashbrowns, beans and many more. I had no complains.
There is a casino in the resort and I bet you I was there in the evening playing Blackjack for fun. I ran out of luck that day as I lost a few hundred dollars. Winning and losing is always part of the game.
It was a wonderful property and sadly I only stayed one night there with my media friends. The resort was like an art gallery. I’m sure most of them didn’t notice that the walls were filled with paintings. It is ideal place to stay as it is quiet in the evening and the room is huge enough for family and friends. There is always a casino in the main building if you intend to play for a game or two.
