Le Noir Singapore Review, Intimate Side of Cirque
We are not a big fan of Cirque de Soleil or Cirque (means arena in French) performances. Thus, we have to rephrase that perception after we watched Le Noir in Singapore at Marina Bay Sands. In short the performance was sensual, erotic, satisfying and entertaining.
Who are Le Noir? I picked up this story from ShowbizAsia and it tells the story of this unique group.
For the first time in Singapore, and direct from a sellout season in Tokyo comes Le Noir, an extraordinary evening of intimate cirque style entertainment starring some of the most incredible acrobatic acts on earth will descend on Singapore for the very first time in March.
Singapore is invited to enter the captivating world of LE NOIR – a custom-produced cirque show like no other. Designed and built specifically for the MasterCard Theatres at Marina Bay Sands, audiences will be immersed in an extraordinary visual feast using metaphors of white, red and black to describe the diverse range of our personalities.
Twenty of the very best cirque performers from all four corners of the globe are the centre piece of this production and will enthrall crowds in this spell-binding theatrical journey spanning the three key colour themes.
Le Noir accentuates the darker side of these colours using not only the acts on stage but of every audience member as well. The content is surreal, beautiful, seductive and at time hilariously risqué. The production is fast paced, extremely funny and above all entertaining. – http://www.showbizasia.com/le-noir/
We loved Le Noir and it was not just about good looking muscular guys and hot looking ladies performers. The show was produced in segments with different themes and colourful lightings. Music score blends perfectly which each theme and we loved the intervals as the performer will invite live audiences onto the stage. There were interactions with the crowd and we loved the surprises throughout the show. There was a 20 minute break in between the two hour show.
Sadly, Le Noir performance will end on 7th of April 2013 so you left a few days watching these magnificent performances. However the good news is Dirty Dancing is coming soon to Marina Bay Sands. Check out all the details and plan your trip to Singapore at YourSingapore.com. We don’t mind paying and watching the show again.
*By the way, photography without flash is allowed and strictly no video during the performances. Please be there early so you do not interrupt others.
