Breakfast Set at Kai Kee Noodle 雞記潮州麵食Tsim Sha Tsui

Do you fancy eating breakfast in the hotel you staying in Hong Kong or looking for some local food? I chose the latter.

Staying in Tsim Sha Tsui has its perks. There are many restaurants and cafes around the area. One of them is the Kai Kee Noodle 雞記潮州麵食.

From HK$20, you can get a breakfast set from Kai Kee Noodle. There are a number of choices available to choose from.

For additional HK$ 2 (inclusive of the set meal), I can have the option of hot coffee or milk tea. Of course I chose the infamous Hong Kong milk tea. I’m not sure whether it is the tea or the milk, I always find Hong Kong milk tea comforting.

The set I chose is HK$ 23 (HK$25 inclusive of the milk tea) consists of Satay Beef with Instant Noodles Soup and Luncheon Meat Scrambled Egg with Bread with Butter. The Satay Beef with Instant Noodles Soup was different than the usual menus but it was decent.

The Luncheon meat with scrambled egg and bread with butter was the extra. Portion looks small but bear in mind, the whole set was only HK$ 25 and that translate to RM 10 which is very cheap.

Overall, food is decent nothing to shout about but it is comfort food especially the hot milk tea.
