Donutes Bandar Puchong Jaya and Taiwan Famous Danish Polo Bun
There is one new bakery in Bandar Puchong Jaya opened a few months ago and it has been a talking point for the locals. The bakery opens 24-7 and you often spots long queue at most times. The bakery is called “Donutes” a franchise bakery from Taiwan.
Being a curious resident, I went there to check out what makes this bakery so special. Like the usual days, finding a car park near the bakery is near impossible at this ever busy Jalan Kenari 6 of Bandar Puchong Jaya.
It didn’t take me long to know what is the best sellers at Donutes, I simply asked the waiter and he introduced the famous few to me.
The top two best sellers are Taiwan Rosong and the Danish Polo Bun. I chose the latter. The Danish Polo Bun is priced at RM 3.80 while the Taiwan Rosong is priced at RM 5.80.
I also bought a few more pastries from the bakery. At noon, partial of their pastries were already sold out. Apparently, the coffee and tea is popular too. However we only purchased the pastries.
The infamous Danish polo bun is definitely as good as it is marketed. The outer top layer is crispy and crunchy while the bun is soft and fragrant. It is said that they are selling 30,000 Danish Polo Bun in Taiwan daily. That basically sums up the popularity of Donutes Coffee and Cake Baking at Bandar Puchong Jaya. The next visit will buy more for my parents to try.
