Jalan Alor in KLIA Review
Jalan Alor in KLIA Review
What to eat in KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport)? If you want to move away from the usual fast food chain restaurants, there are local foods available inside the satellite terminal of KLIA (after you taking the skytrain from the main building).

We found a restaurant at the upper level by the name of Jalan Alor. It is named after the most popular street food road in Kuala Lumpur and they have a variety of local food available.
We ordered a Hainanese chicken rice and a roast duck rice.
The Hainanese chicken rice comes in a slightly larger portion than usual. Even though it’s airport food but it is quite decent.
The roast duck rice also comes in a similar portion. The taste is not disappointing and it consider very good for airport food.
Okay, the price for each plate is RM 23.00+ per plate excluding 6% GST. When we posted the picture on our Facebook page, it was hard hit by some of the netizens. Do understand that the rental in airport is very expensive and labour is not cheap either. If not mistaken, you can’t hire foreigners to work in the airport (I’m unsure about this ruling) so that’s sums up the high charges of the food in the airport.
That’s a neat idea. 🙂
well the price is still expensive comparing with other restaurants at the airport, so it’s a big no from me
