Pasta at Ben’s Pavilion KL Shopping Mall
Pasta at Ben’s Pavilion KL Shopping Mall
There is no secret that Ben’s has been our favourite dining place since we visited them some time ago. Even though we have not fully tried out their menu but every visit gives us a very good lasting impression.
One of them is at Ben’s Pavilion KL Shopping Mall. Located at the sixth floor, Ben’s looks charming with white furnished exterior.
While the white looks clean and smart from the outside, the interior gives a warmth feeling and ambience. I loved how they décor the portraits on the wall and the design of the interior.
Crispy Duck Confit Spaghettini with Sun dried tomatoes. It was only recently that I’ve heard that a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur serves smoked duck as duck confit but you won’t find such lame excuses at Ben’s. The spaghettini is beautifully cooked and mixed together with crispy duck confit, sun dried tomatoes and poured with generous amounts of rockets leaves. It could be better if the duck confit is not that dry.
Golden Soft Shell Crab Spaghettini with curry leaves and cili padi. The crispy golden soft shell crab is cooked with spaghettini, what could get wrong? I also love the slight spicy taste of the curry leaves and constant excitement from the cili padi.
For drinks, milkshakes at the Ben’s has never disappointment me. Even though some of them might be tummy filling, my best preference is the Peanut Butter Banana Milkshake.
Pastas are above average and my preference goes to the golden soft shell crab spaghettini. Services are always good at Ben’s and prices are slightly above average. Food portion is considered generous and on par with the money spent. We will definitely visit them again.

I always pass by Ben’s but never had a chance to dine there before but I guess I can find similar food with similar taste else where with cheaper price… maybe one day if I got spare cash then I might consider dining there with my family 🙂
I think that’s the duck spaghetti that I ate when they first opened and originally got me hooked on the place. 🙂
The Yum List,
I prefer the soft shell crab pasta more!
