Ushuaia – Malvinas Argentinas International Airport – World’s Most Beautiful Airport

Some memories should be remembered and some stories and pictures should be shared. Some stories could be old but it must be told. In this case is my experience at Ushuaia – Malvinas Argentinas International Airport.

Ushuaia – Malvinas Argentinas International Airport is located in Tierra del Feugo of Argentina. If you are good in geography, you know that Tierra del Fuego is the tip of South America and the closest to Antarctic.

I was there in 2010 for a week. I was traveling from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia and the road trip took two weeks before I flew back from Ushuaia.

There are many great stories in this southern most city in the world and one of them is the Ushuaia – Malvinas Argentinas International Airport. It is voted as the World’s Most Beautiful Airport by TravelandLeisure website and I agrees with them.

The design of the airport is a beauty. If you look at the design of the roof, they encourage natural light shines the interior of the airport. Even though the airport is small, it has a combination of local and international flights.

If you walk out from the airport, you will be amazed by the beauty of the landscape of snow capped mountains of Ushuaia. The portrait-like landscape will carved deep into your memories as you are at the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia.
