Samsung and Chelsea continue to Develop Grassroots Football
It is weekend with Chelsea. I have been involved with Samsung Malaysia in this few days promoting Chelsea locally. Just a few days ago, I attended the youth football camp that brings priceless training experience and Blues joy to children.
In conjunction with Chelsea Football Club’s Here to Play Here to Stay Asia Tour 2013, Samsung and Chelsea FC have teamed up once again to bring the youth football camp to Malaysian children.

“This is the fourth edition of the Samsung-Chelsea youth football camp and we continue to see tremendous dedication and enthusiasm from the children.
At Samsung, we believe in transforming possibilities into realities and we strive to do just that for these children by offering them a unique footballing lesson with top coaches,” said Elaine Soh, Head of Corporate and Branding, Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn. Bhd.
“We want to nurture these young talents and give them the best possible experience to bring their passion for the beautiful game to a whole new level,” said Soh.

The Samsung-Chelsea FC Youth Football Camp plays an integral role in Samsung’s support for developing football at grassroots level.
This year, the youth football camp, held at Chelsea’s Blue Pitch in Damansara Damai, saw a total of 60 participants aged nine to 13 from Yayasan Sunbeams Home and Royal Selangor Club.
The kids learned the tricks of the trade from Chelsea Foundation coaches who have been following the first-team on tour. At the end of the day, I can see the smiles of enjoyment and learning from the kids. Kudos also to the Chelsea Foundation coaches who had been awesome with the kids. Trust me, they put their hearts and love to the kids as they played, sang and danced together.
With the youth football camp, the Blues excitement steadily builds as Chelsea’s FC friendly match against a Malaysian selection team on Sunday, 21 July draws nearer.
This is the fourth time that Chelsea FC has visited Malaysia.
I just don’t understand the rave about football… much to hubby’s disappointment. 😉
