If you are planning to visit Bali this October, you should read this. Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali to commercial flights will be closed for a few hours when the island hosts the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in October.

The APEC Summit in Bali will be attended by representatives from 23 countries. Established in 1989, the organization represents 40 percent of the world’s population, 54.2 percent of the world’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and 43.7 percent of global trade.*
Herewith are the dates of the closure of Bali Ngurah Rai International airport which are as follows :-
05th Oct : Closed from 1000 hrs – 1600 hrs
06th Oct : Closed from 1000 hrs – 2000 hrs
07th Oct : Open
08th Oct : Closed from 1000 hrs – 2000 hrs
09th Oct : Closed from 1000 hrs – 1600 hrs
10th Oct : Back to normal operation
Please bear in mind that most part of Nusa Dua will be closed for APEC and they will be expecting heavy traffic at the dates above.
