Samsung 50-200mm f/4.0-5.6 ED OIS II Lens Review

I had the taste of the Samsung NX 50-200mm f/4.0-5.6 ED OIS I (Mark One) three years ago and it was handy unit. I bought the Samsung NX 50-200mm f/4.0-5.6 ED OIS II recently for my Samsung NX-20 as I needed a zoom lens badly.

I have a standard kit lens and getting a zoom lens for my Samsung is better than carrying my full frame camera for traveling.

This telephoto zoom lens for Samsung NX cameras is equivalent to 75-300mm on a full frame camera and it comes with image stabilisation and iFunction control.

(Amazing quality on 200mm)

 
While I’m not a big fan of the iFunction control but I see huge improvements on this lens. The focus mechanism improved and the auto focus is faster on this lens. The picture quality didn’t disappoint me too when I used it on my Macau Trip.
