Kumamono Bear Paw Burger Review

Last year, I see pictures of weird looking burgers around Klang Valley. The burger buns are in the shape of bear paw (with the imprints too) and I didn’t have the time to try until lately. They are one of the many burger joints mushrooming in Klang Valley and they are still trending now.

Meet the “new kids on the block”, Kumamono bear paw burger restaurant originated from Taiwan. You can easily spot Kumamon, the mascot of Kumamoto Japan in their flagship restaurant in Sungei Wang located next to U Café (near the main entrance of Sungei Wang).

As a first timer, I am a total loss in what to order but they make it simple for me with a few simple steps.

Step One:

Choose the Kumabun, the cute bear paw burger bun. They have four flavours to choose from with milk, brown sugar, whole grain and squid ink. Currently they have the seasonal yam flavour! This cute Kumabun is directly imported from Taiwan!

Step 2:

Select the meat. They have Karaage Crispy Chicken, Karaage Spicy Crispy Chicken and Oishii Fish Fillet.

Step 3:

Select Sauce. You will be spoilt by choices as there are tartar sauce, honey mustard sauce, Thai chilli sauce, red chilli sauce, black pepper sauce, lobster sauce and Nacho cheese sauce.

The set meal comes with French fries and a drink. If you are planning to get the set meal (which is cheaper), you have the option to choose either green fruity drinks, soda fruity drinks or mango tango drinks.
