It has been a few years since I dined at Sri Karak restaurant at PJ State. Even though the restaurant is not Halal certified but they are Muslim friendly as they only use Halal certified products, ingredients and meat.

There are only a handful restaurants offering delicious sang har mee and Sri Karak is one of them. Priced at 100g at RM 10, I ordered the biggest prawn they can find in kitchen and boy, aren’t they fresh and delicious! Instead of deep frying the noodle, they pan fried the noodle so the noodle is more fragrant. Thus, the sauce is well balanced and it is not too starchy as well. The bonus is this is Muslim friendly food and you pay for quality food.

They have not raises their food prices for more than 5 years despite all the increment in cost and inflation to say the least. Restoran Sri Karak offers pork free Chinese cuisine with Halal certified meat. They are popular also with their durian pastries such as durian tarts, durian pancakes, durian bombs and durian ABC.
