Reclining Buddha at Wat Phranon Laem Pho, Ko Yo, Songkhla

If you are planning to visit Songkhla in Southern Thailand, you should visit the island of Ko Yo or Yo Island. Ko Yo is a small island emerged in the middle of the Songkhla lake and you have a spectacular view of the lake on this island.

When you enter the island from South, there is a reclining Buddha on your left. That is the Reclining Buddha at Wat Phranon Laem Pho or Phranon Laem Pho temple.

The Buddha is gold in colour and it shimmers under the sun. Thus, it looks amazing for photography. For the size of the Buddha, you can tell how huge it is when we parked our van in front of it.

For Buddhists, you can pray with joss stick available at a small fee. For others, you can take pictures with this spectacular reclining Buddha as part of the tourist attractions in Ko Yo in Songkhla Thailand.
