Muugu Garden Bistro, Bar & Grill Review
Muugu Garden Bistro, Bar & Grill Review
Where is the latest eat drink places in KL (Kuala Lumpur)? There are many but recently I went to one new restaurant at Jalan Jati off Jalan Tun Razak. The restaurant is called Muugu Garden Bistro, Bar & Grill with apparent no reason but it does sounds like cows’ “moo”.
It is a beautiful converted restaurant bungalow and Muugu is the third restaurant to inherit this place. The beauty of Muugu is the beautiful garden for a great place for outdoor events as well as their many private parking bays. If you want to look for a private event with around 100 pax, you should check out Muugu Garden Bistro, Bar & Grill.
I went there a few weeks ago with a couple of friends for a private food review. It has been ages since I do food reviews in Kuala Lumpur but one thing for sure I didn’t get disappointed at the end of day.
The interior of this place is a beauty. You walk into a dining area with soft lights, soothing music, right room temperature, friendly staffs and when you look at the menu, you will be surprised with the reasonable pricing.
I get to try most of the dishes out from their menu so I separated this story to multiple pages for easy reading and scrolling. Let’s start with their starters.
Dream of Mushroom Soup (RM 12.00)
Dream of Mushroom Soup sounds like a typo error but the thick creamy mushroom soup is made of wild mushroom topped with cream and truffle oil. Dip the garlic bread with this and this will make a great starter.
Spicy Seafood De Marie (RM15.00)
Spicy Seafood De Marie is another soup you can choose from other than the mushroom soup. The soup is served with generous amount of seafood with notable clams and mussels with tomato base. This is enjoyable.
Pan Seared Scallops with Quail Eggs (RM23)
Pan Seared Scallops with Quail Eggs is a combination of pan seared scallops with quail eggs. Forget the calories count you will enjoy the pan seared scallops with quail eggs which compliments well with sweetcorn cream and a dash of beetroot puree.
Truffle Fries (RM8.00)
Truffle Fries says it all. The fries are made from Russet Burbank Potatoes and sprinkled with truffle oil. You can taste the scent from the truffle oil and this is addictive.
Can’t sleep? Me too and hungry too. Wish I can have this cheesecake.
