Marrakesh or Marrakech is a beautiful city in African nation of Morocco. If you never heard of Morocco, you should hear about Casablanca. Casablanca is capital city of Morocco. Marrakesh is one of the four former imperial cities and buildings are constructed in the 12^th Century. It is often called the “Red City” or “Ochre City” due to its distinctive red buildings built using red sandstone. It is a dream to visit Morocco and it is definitely on my wish list.

Inspired by the red city, a resort is built in Hua Hin. It is the Marrakesh Hua Hin Resort and Spa and it is one of the most unique luxury hotels in the region.

This is definitely one of the most impressive hotels I have stayed so far. The theme Marrakesh covers the entire property. From the entrance to the beach, the entire property looks exactly or similar to the buildings in Marrakesh.

The stunning resort often appears in lifestyle magazines and it is a favourite resort for many Thai celebrities. You get to see many Instagram pictures of this resort by many Thai celebrities and if you are lucky enough, you might bump to one of them.

If you have not notice, hotel lobby is often the best place for hotels to showcase their design. It is the first impression of hotels before you step into the hotel rooms. There are many stunning hotel lobbies I’ve encountered and you just have to give a thumb up for Marrakesh Hua Hin Resort and Spa.

It is stunning and you won’t stop taking pictures of it. Trust me you can take all the time you want to selfie at the lobby and Instragram or upload it on the Facebook. This lobby has been featured in many fashion magazines in fashion shoots.

The beauty of it is the ambience of this place will change during the evening. The different lighting of the lobby will change the feeling of this place dramatically.

Take a walk around the property and you will be amazed on how details the work of this resort. The colour, the design and the tiles, this resort is built to impress.

There are only suites available at Marrakesh Hua Hin Resort and Spa and there are only Fountain Pool Suite room type that has no Jacuzzi, but the private pool. All rooms are huge in size and it comes with two colours, red or blue.

I got a blue room. I mean the theme is blue and the moment you step in, you enter the bathroom first before the hotel room.

This place is great for couples and family. I love how the room is separated by the huge bathroom and the Jacuzzi area. There is also a standing shower area, changing room and toilet area. This is my first time seeing an individual changing room in a hotel suite.

The swimming pool is located near the beach and it partially covered by the beautiful trees. You get the view of the hotels and the beach from the pool. Hence, I prefer swimming at the pool in the evening.

They have a colourful bar by the beach and it changes colour during the evening.  Thus, there are great choices of drinks especially the cocktails available.

If you always wanted to watch movie at the park, you can do so by the beach. Every Monday and Wednesday in the evening, the resort will screen romantic movies by the beach., the resort will broadcast a romantic movie by the beach. So during the evening, you can have one arm with your girlfriend, boyfriend, wife or husband and another hand with a cocktail or a mocktail. Isn’t it romantic?

The experience of staying in Marrakesh Hua Hin Resort and Spa is a truly memorable one. It is definitely worth every penny to stay in this resort in Hua Hin.
