Oliver Brown Top Ryde City Belgian Chocolate Cafe

If you are a chocolate lover and travelling in Sydney, you should check out this restaurant and the name is Oliver Brown. The brand began in Australia in 2010 at their first store in Top Ryde, Sydney, Australia.

I always enjoy trying out local franchise restaurants or cafes in Australia and this was my first time visiting Oliver Brown. They have quite a number of stores in Australia including a few in China. I visited their outlet in Top Ryde Shopping Centre to check out their famous Belgian chocolate drinks.

When I walked into the outlet, I was greeted by smiley faces. It is a typical café with fast paced music. They have a good blend of young and old customers enjoying their cuppa of Belgian chocolate drinks.

I tried their OB Hot Chocolate Dark (A$6) and I noticed they do not have a vast variety of cocoa drinks unlike their competitor. You get a good smooth blend of hot Belgian chocolate and the best part is it wasn’t too sweet or too thick. Totally love it.

I tasted the OB Ice Chocolate(A$ 7) and OB Ice Mocha (A$7.8). I still prefer their chocolate drinks than the mocha.

If you look for something to bite, you should try their OB Belgium Waffle with Ice Cream (A$8). The freshly made waffle is topped with melted Belgian chocolate and compliments with a scoop of ice cream. Just writing this makes me feels like having it again. The warm waffle topped with warm thick Belgian chocolate and compliment it with smooth cold ice cream, what can you ask more?
